Shigaraki ware is one of Japan’s Six Ancient Kilns, with a history spanning over 1,200 years.
It is renowned for its natural clay tones and rustic ceramic texture.

This piece is crafted using natural clay sourced from the Shigaraki region, and shaped entirely by hand by artisans at Japan’s largest climbing kiln studio.
No pottery wheel, no molds—each piece is slowly formed by the artisan’s fingertips, resulting in organic forms rich in life and individual character.

Fired in a traditional climbing kiln, the fire marks, subtle color shifts, and ash glaze effects are created naturally under intense heat.
Each piece becomes a record of earth, fire, and time.
